Rep. Haas’ Summer Reading Club

State Rep. Jackie Haas invites 79th District K – 6th Graders to dive into the “Oceans of Possibilities Summer Reading Club.” The 79th District is home to terrific libraries with depths of books beneath their surfaces.

To be a Summer Reader, K – 6th graders in the 79th District must read 8 books during their summer vacation. Books for local library programs are also acceptable and books over 150 pages may count for two books.

All Summer Readers will be invited to an ice cream party Rep. Haas is hosting later this summer, where she will present official certificates from the Illinois House of Representatives recognizing students’ commitment to reading.
