Rep. Haas Honors Connect Roasters for June Local Business Spotlight

KANKAKEE – For her June 2024 local business spotlight, State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) recognizes Connect Roasters in Bourbonnais. Rep. Haas spent time touring the business and presented the owner with a certificate of appreciation for their contributions to the community.

“For my June 2024 local business spotlight, I am honored to recognize Connect Roasters in Bourbonnais,”  said Rep. Haas. “Their efforts to create real change in our communities, and in communities across the globe, is truly inspiring.”

Connect Roasters was founded in 2016 by Caleb Benoit. Caleb was inspired to create change after completing mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Haiti. He decided to open Connect Roasters as a way to provide great coffee to the area while also giving back a portion of all sales to community development initiatives in countries where coffee is grown.

Rep. Haas concluded, “I applaud Caleb and the team at Connect Roasters for their dedication to supporting local organizations, like the Greater Chicago Food Depository, and even partnering with Cubs player Ian Happ to fund local COVID relief efforts. It’s wonderful to have a local business that offers an incredible product and gives back to others.”

Connect Roasters is located at 141 S. Main Street in Bourbonnais. For more information, visit their website at ConnectRoasters.com.
