KANKAKEE – For October’s local business spotlight, State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) is recognizing Embrace Consignment of Bradley. Embrace Consignment sells clothing and furniture that are in-style, clean, and damage-free. She was joined by House Minority Leader Tony McCombie (R-Savanna) when she presented a certificate from the House of Representatives to owner Julie Jones-Reece.
“Finding affordable, fashionable clothing can be difficult for many, but Embrace Consignment offers a tremendous selection of gently-used clothing and furniture for 79th District constituents and visitors to find that new item their closet or home has been waiting for,” said Rep. Haas. “I was also delighted to welcome Leader Tony McCombie to the 79th District and join me in recognizing this great local business.”
Embrace Consignment was founded in 2009 by Julie Jones-Reece. She began the business to supplement her income as a social worker for Riverside Healthcare. She left Riverside Healthcare in 2013 to devote herself full-time to Embrace after its success.
Embrace Consignment is located at 148 N Kinzie Ave in Bradley. They are open Sunday to Saturday from 10 AM – 5 PM.
