State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) recently recognized a local business in her 79th legislative district as part of her monthly business spotlight program. The Local Business Spotlight for June is Icebox Creamery located at 118 W. Main St. in Peotone.
Rep. Haas visited the Icebox Creamery this week to present owners Jake and Melissa Kulacz with an official certificate recognizing their service to the community! Jake and Melissa opened Icebox Creamery two years ago and have been serving hungry customers looking to satisfy their sweet-tooth ever since!
“Icebox Creamery makes some of the best ice cream around,” said Haas. “They offer a variety of many different delicious flavors including Cold Brew Shakes make with local cold brew. This is definitely a local favorite! I am pleased to have this business be a part of the larger 79th District and encourage our local residents to stop by and see it for themselves!”
