State Representative Jackie Haas (R-Kankakee) is launching her annual holiday toy drive to benefit Toys for Tots. This is the third year Rep. Haas will designate her Kankakee District Office as an official Toys for Tots drop-off location. Donations will be accepted from now through December 10th at 370 E Court Street, Kankakee.
Rep. Haas is encouraging residents throughout her 79th District to join her in this season of giving! Community members are invited to drop off any new toys, which will be given to those in need this holiday season. Any new toys will be accepted; used toys or stuffed animals will not be accepted at this time.
“Toys for Tots is a tremendous organization that really does a fantastic job with spreading holiday cheer to those in need this time of year and I am proud to help play a small role in facilitating that joy,” said Rep. Haas.
